Dr. Sumit Mukhopadhyay did his MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College (CNMC, Kolkata)and did his post graduation in Radiology from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College(MGMMC) and M.Y hospital , Indore. Thereafter he trained in Bombay Hospital and Research Institute in Mumbai.

He joined Tata Medical Center in 2013.

His areas of interest in the field of Oncologic Imaging being response evaluation in oncology , Whole body MRI application in Oncology and Imaging in cancer screening .
