Amrita Kaur completed her undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MS, General Surgery) training from Bombay (Maharashtra University of Health sciences) in 2015. Thereafter, she underwent three years of plastic surgery residency at the esteemed Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamil Nadu where an intense training in trauma, oncology, burn injuries and congenital defects followed. Upon completion of MCh degree, she chose to pursue her interest in microvascular surgery with an 18month fellowship at Tata Medical, Kolkata. She joined the TMC family as a consultant in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in March 2022. She is a member of national and state societies of plastic surgery. Her interests lie in trunk, head and neck and lymphatic microsurgeries. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, diving and running.
