Dr Tapesh Bhattacharyya is a Senior Consultant of Tata Medical Center, Kolkata. He completed his MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata followed by MD from Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Shimla. He trained further as a Senior Resident in PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has served as a faculty in several hospitals across the country including PGIMER, Chandigarh (Nov-2014-Dec2014), Malabar Cancer Center, Thalassery, Kerala (2015-2016) and Regional Cancer Center, Trivandrum (2016-2017).He underwent advanced clinical training on Heavy Ion Radiotherapy from May 2018 to November 2019 at National Institute of Radiological Sciences, Chiba, Japan. His special interests include gastrointestinal cancers, lung cancer, gynaecological cancers and particle therapy.
