Dr Chandra passed her MD from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha in 2003. She also trained in MRI in the Bombay Institute of Medical Sciences in 2005. She has over the last few years worked in Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, and Medica Superspeciality Hospital Kolkata.

Her interests lie in MRI and Women's Imaging including Mammography.
