Dr. Viplab Patro is consultant in the Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain. He has done his MBBS from  Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati  Medical College, Berhampur, Odisha  and DNB Anaesthesia from National Board of Examination. He then pursued his career at Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad and Medica superspeciality  hospital, Kolkata before joining Tata Medical Centre as a consultant . His aim has been to excel in the world of Cancer through hard work, research, skills and perseverance. He  is a member of various Anaesthesia societies in India. His  special interest has been in perioperative onco-anaesthesia including difficult airway management, thoracic anaesthesia, abdominal surgeries and is a certified ACLS instructor. With a special interest in CRS-HIPEC and Hepatobiliary and thoracic surgeries. He is also a certified in NABH Pre -assessor.
