Dr Anand Sagar Ragate completed MBBS in 2012 from Shri B M Patil Medical College, Vijayapura, Karnataka. Subsequently, he did his internship training at same college and also pursued postgraduate training from same institute. Thereafter, served as Senior Resident in the department of General Surgery there between 2016-2017, after this he joined as a senior resident at Mallareddy Medical College, Suraram, Hyderabad from 31st July 2017 - 15th Oct 2017. In pursuit of further training, he did post-doctoral fellowship in GI-HPB Surgical Oncology at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata from 26th Oct 2017 - Oct 2019. After this period, he joined Tata Medical Center, Kolkata as Clinical Associate in GI-HPB Surgery. Later he completed his hepatobiliary and liver transplant training at Medanta hospital Gurugram. After this period, he joined Tata Medical Center, Kolkata as Consultant in GI-HPB Surgery. His special interests are surgery of the hepato-pancreatico-biliary tract and liver transplant.
