Dr. Shouriyo Ghosh is a consultant in the Department of Clinical Haematology and Cellular Therapies at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata.
He has been associated with the haematology team at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata since 2017, initially as a fellow and later on as consultant in the department.
He did his MBBS and MD from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, respectively and then completed his post-doctoral training (DM) in clinical haematology from Institute of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine, Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata. Subsequently, he obtained a fellowship in Leukaemia and BMT from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
His areas of interest include managing patients with acute leukemias (especially acute myeloid leukaemia) and myeloproliferative neoplasms and also in the area of stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies. He is well versed in clinical research and data
management. He regularly performs clinical audits, academic and research activities in the department and has many publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals.
