Dr Jyotsna Goswami is Senior Consultant & Head of the Department in Anaesthesia & Critical Care at Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata. After graduation from Burdwan Medical Collegeshe completed MD (Anesthesiology) from B.J.Medical College &Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad in 1991. Subsequently she pursued training in Liver Transplant &Hepatobiliary services in King's College, London & University of Minnesota, USA. She had been a faculty member at the Dept. of Anaesthesiology, Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai for last sixteen years. She was one of the key members of the Liver Transplant team there. She was a teacher & guide to DNB students in Anaesthesia for last eight years. She is also an AHA (American Heart Association) certified instructor for Basic & Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Her special interests includehepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation (both living related & cadaveric).
