Dr. Anik Ghosh is a Consultant in the Department of Gynae-Oncology at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata.

He completed his MBBS and MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) from West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Following this, he completed his sub-speciality fellowship training in gynae-oncology at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata and then joined the institute as a faculty member. He has been with this institute from its inception and has been developing services for its continuous improvement.

His special interests are in cytoreductive surgeries (debulking surgeries) for peritoneal surface malignancies originating from gynaecological organs(ovary and uterus) and application of intraperitoneal chemotherapy(HIPEC) in its treatment. He is also successful in applying minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgical techniques in the treatment of early uterine and cervical cancers.

Dr. Ghosh has many presentations in conferences both national and abroad. He is a member of multiple international gynae-oncological societies (SGO, USA;ESGO, Europe; ASGO, Asian continent) and is also an external reviewer of SPSOI(Society of Peritoneal Surface Malignancy of India). He is an active member of the national(AGOI) and local(BOGS) gynae-oncology community.
