Dr Abhishek Sharma is working in the department of breast oncosurgery at Tata Medical Center Kolkata as associate consultant . He has had his surgical training in Breast Surgery in AIIMS New Delhi and then with NHS, England where he worked as registrar in breast surgery and a research fellow for a few years before returning to India.
His areas of interest are breast cancer in young women and reconstructive breast surgery including breast implants .He is also involved with various programs to spread awareness of breast cancer in India.
