Patients are advised to make an informed choice as transfer from one category to another is not permitted frequently. A social worker at the Enquiry\/Registration Counter will assist with this process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Patients seeking consultation by a specific doctor will need to register under the private category.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>No distinction will be made in the quality of treatment between General and Private category patients.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial Assistance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tata Medical Center treats general category patients at no profit. In addition the hospital does have the provision for financial assistance for services provided within the hospital for underprivileged patients.
