Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata is proud to partner with the Leeds Cancer Center, Leeds, United Kingdom in organizing the Final FRCR Part A (Clinical Oncology) preparatory course every year in the month of December, since 2015.

In 2019, the fifth annual course will be held from December 02 to 06, 2019 (Monday to Friday).

The Leeds Single Best Answer Course (Final FRCR Part A, Clinical Oncology) conducted by Leeds Cancer Center is a highly acclaimed and well attended course for Final FRCR preparation in the UK. The Leeds -TMC FRCR Part 2A (Clinical Oncology) preparatory course in Kolkata will follow the model of the UK course and will be taught by international faculty from Leeds Cancer Center and by clinical oncology experts from India.

I am a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in gynaecological and lower GI Cancers. I am the Clinical Lead for Clinical Oncology at The Leeds Cancer Centre and Chair of the First FRCR Board.

This is the 5th course I have had the pleasure to teach on and the 4th I have lead. The success of the Kolkata course resulted in the development of a similar UK based course which has run for 3 years.

I was the Professor of Radiation Oncology and Clinical Lead for the Head and Neck Cancer Unit at Dokuz Eylul University Medical School in Izmir, Turkey until 2003. I moved to Leeds, UK in 2004 as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist  with a special interest in head and neck cancers. I take part teaching and education activities of head and neck cancer nationally and internationally and I am the current director of international collaboration committee of BAHNO.

I am a Consultant Clinical oncologist specialising in non-surgical aspects of breast cancer at Leeds Cancer Center. I am Looking forward to my first time in Kolkata, having met the trainees from Kolkata in Leeds.

Clinical Oncology Specialty Trainee. He is currently undertaking a PhD investigating Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy in the pelvis. He passed the FRCR Part 2 examination in Autumn 2017 and taught on the 2018 Kolkata Part 2A course.

Final year Clinical Oncology registrar at St James Hospital, Leeds – Passed my FRCR in May 2018. Just returned from a fellowship in Toronto, Canada.

Currently based at comprehensive Cancer Center, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore.

Completed his undergraduate training in 1999 from Thanjavur Medical College. He then moved to the UK for postgraduate and oncology training. After general medical training, started Specialist Registar training in clinical Oncology at Weston Park Hospital, Sheffield (2004-2009) and obtained Certificate of completion of specialist training (CCST) . Subsequently did Oncology Fellowship training at the prestigious Princess Margaret, Hospital Toronto (2009-2010). He was then working as a consultant Oncologist in the UK for 7 years (2010-2017) before returning back to India in July last year.
