Tata Medical Center, Kolkata is the only center in India hosting the First FRCR (Clinical Oncology) Examinations in Kolkata since Feb 2015.
This examination is held twice a year in Spring and Autmn.

First FRCR Course in partnership with the Christie School of Oncology, Manchester (January 14th-19th, 2019)
Tata Medical Centre Kolkata is partnering with Christie Hospital, Manchester to organize a First FRCR course every year in January.
The Christie course is the leading FRCR preparatory course in the UK. The course in Kolkata is taught by faculty from Manchester and experts from India.
The first edition of this jointly conducted course was successfully held in January 2015. This will be the 5th successive year of this highly acclaimed course.
This is an intensive on-campus course of one week’s duration. Candidates also have online access to lectures in the Christie Course in Manchester. Attending this course will significantly aid in preparing for the FRCR examination in Spring and Autumn 2019.
There are only limited slots available and these must be booked in advance.
The cost of the course is subsidized for attendees in Kolkata.
Payment of a course fee is mandatory for registration. Payment can be made by cheque (valid in Kolkata) or bank transfer. Confirmation of participation is only possible after the payment has been realized.
