It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you to EZIDCON 2026 – The First Eastern Zonal Infectious Diseases Conclave, to be held in Kolkata on 20th and 21st June 2026.

Infectious Diseases as a specialty is evolving rapidly, driven by emerging pathogens, antimicrobial resistance, advances in diagnostics, and the growing complexity of immunocompromised hosts. In this dynamic landscape, platforms that foster academic exchange, multidisciplinary collaboration, and region-specific discussions are more important than ever.

EZIDCON 2026 has been conceptualized as a focused academic forum bringing together clinicians, microbiologists, intensivists, researchers, and trainees from across Eastern India and beyond. The scientific program has been thoughtfully curated to address contemporary challenges in infectious diseases, with emphasis on practical clinical decision-making, case-based discussions, antimicrobial stewardship, transplant and oncology infections, tropical diseases, and emerging diagnostic technologies.

The pre-conference segment featuring the Postgraduate Quiz and Faculty Dinner Symposium aims to actively engage young minds and encourage academic participation, while the main conference will host expert-led sessions, panel discussions, and interactive learning modules designed to translate evidence into practice.
