Annual Update in Peritoneal Surface Malignancies
The team at Tata Medical Center treating Peritoneal Surface Malignancies take great pleasure in hosting this year’s Annual Update in Peritoneal Surface Malignancies. The theme of this year is “Breaking the Myth in PSM”. The 3 day conference would be divided in two parts: one full day workshop (April 13, 2023), and two days of academic discussions(April 14-15, 2023).
As we stand today, the field of peritoneal surface malignancy has expanded exponentially into diverse fields of surgical technology, intra-cavitary chemotherapy, targeted chemotherapy and incorporation of diagnostic facilities at the molecular level to improve the outcome of patients diagnosed with this condition. Our conference aims at updating the fraternity with advancements in this field according to the latest evidence in the present global context.
We welcome you all to the City of Joy, Kolkata. Please block your dates and join us for this conference. We would also recommend participants to submit their abstract for e-poster presentations. The complete programme details would be shared with you soon.

E-poster abstract submission guidelines
- The abstract submission deadline is 20th March 2023.
- First page of the abstract must have the following information : Title, Presenting author and Co-authors with their affiliations, Mobile number and Email address of the presenting author, conflicts of interest (if any).
- Structured abstract up to 300 words must be submitted under following headings – Title, Introduction and Aim, Methodology, Results and Conclusion.
- Abstracts must be submitted by e-mail to spsoitmck@gmail.com.
- Submitted abstracts shall be reviewed by the scientific committee and accepted abstracts will be listed on the website by 5th April 2023.
- The abstracts can be submitted on any aspect of Peritoneal Surface Malignancies and may comprise original studies, case series or interesting case reports.
- The e-posters will be judged by an expert panel and best two e-posters shall be awarded at the conference.
- The e-poster presenting author must be registered for the conference as a delegate.
